If you are considering entering the buy to let market, take your time to research the area in which you wish to purchase, ensure that it is in a desirable rental area. Find out what types of rental properties are in demand and what level of rent you could expect to receive.

The amount of rent you receive may be over and above your monthly mortgage payments. Remember you are responsible for making the mortgage payments even if you are not receiving any rent.

The Lender will have their own special conditions and we will take you through these to make sure the mortgage you have chosen not only meets your requirements, but the lender's special conditions.

An appropriate buy to let building's assurance policy may need to be in place.

Buy to Let mortgages are not regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

 

Your property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
An appropriate life policy may be required.
A minimum fee of £995 or 1% of the loan amount, if greater is payable on
completion. Typically this will be £500.
